Description

Thousands of people all over Columbus, Ohio are faced with staying in hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. If they were given the opportunity, nearly all of them would prefer to remain in their own homes instead. Yet being at home requires basic maintenance: housekeeping, laundry, shopping, and transportation activities. That is where the role of a professional caregiver called a homemaker/companion comes into play. A homemaker/companion represents - "people helping people stay independent and active.” Sometimes just getting out or going shopping can invigorate the senses and make for a pleasant and happy experience.

At River's Crossing Home Health we like to allow clients to remain in their own homes, while we take care of all the details of daily living. Our caregivers are registered through a screening process that includes an application, employment history, local, state and federal criminal background checks, skills survey, psychosocial information, and an orientation. Clients are acquired through a complimentary assessment process that includes a site visit, completion of a client intake survey, and a listing of client service needs and requests. Caregivers are then matched to clients. For a Free In-Home Consultation from the Home Care Supervisor River's Crossing Home Health and More Information about Our Services Call: 877-311-6237.
